I led the map design on this short documentary for Bloomberg, which explores the strategic contest playing out across the Indian Ocean.

To reflect the scale and gravity of the topic, I aimed for a cinematic, elevated style using real world topographic data and repurposed satellite imagery.

The sequence was built in Cinema 4D with Redshift, and composited in After Effects.
